Notes for Readers - also see the latest information booklet.

After announcing the page number, would readers please pause for a moment so that people who wish to follow the reading in the pew bible have time to find the correct page.

Please use the church bible for readings where possible. However, if you wish to use www.biblegateway.com as the basis for your readings, please note that the wording shown in the NIV (UK) edition on that site is sometimes not exactly the same as the wording in the NIV pulpit and pew bibles used at St. David’s.

The version which currently is best to use is the New International Version 1984 available on the BibleGateway site.

However, it is recommended that you check and amend the wording, if necessary, to avoid any confusion for those who wish to follow the readings in the pew bible.

If the readings are intentionally taken from another edition of the bible, this should be announced.

Following the Archbishops’ joint announcement concerning the ongoing coronavirus  emergency,  services at St. David’s will be cancelled until further notice.

Any changes or updates will be published on this site.

In the meantime the churchwarden’s and people of St. David’s will continue to work together and to pray for each other, showing compassion and resilience and, above all, caring especially for those who are marginalised in our societies.

Please see the Weekly Updates and our e-Pew News for latest news about the church and any online services and events.

“May the Lord bless you and keep you.”
