We believe in acknowledging the gift of someone’s life and the impact they have had on those around them, especially those who love them. Our funeral services are focused on giving thanks to God for the gift of a person’s life and we work hard to tailor the Christian service of hope through Jesus Christ to the personality and life of the person who has died.

The service marks the end of the person’s life here on earth and looks forward to the resurrected life through Jesus Christ. It’s a time for family and friends to give thanks for their loved one’s life, to support one another and to commend the person into God’s hands.

We are here to support the parish of Broom Leys. Anyone who lives in the parish, or has a connection with St David’s is entitled to have a funeral service in the Church or conducted by us at the crematorium, or both. Committed Christians can also include a communion in the service if they wish.

Our Church halls and modern kitchen are available to hire for a reception after the funeral service.

We endeavour to support those who are bereaved through our Church and through prayer and we will always invite families to our memorial service each year.

If someone close to you has died, you should contact a funeral director in the first instance. The ones in our area are:

Co-op Funeral Directors - Tel 01530 836703

Lee Cooper, Independent Funeral Director – Tel 01530 814999

Stinson of Whitwick, Independent Funeral Care – Tel 01530 833355

During the interregnum please contact the churchwardens (see contacts page) for any further help.
