in Coalville - 26-28 January 2018

Additionally, below are selected pictures of the events in and around our area in Coalville (thanks to Revd. Neil Griffiths for submitting these photos for publication).

The Bishop of Leicester, Martyn Snow, with Jon Barret, Beth Cluer and three Curates, has been visiting our community with Andy and Neil in a series of events to share the Gospel message.  On Friday the Bishop and/or team were welcomed into Warren Hills, Broom Leys and Castle Rock schools to lead assemblies and discussions.  He was interviewed and answered questions at the Lady Jane pub in the evening.

On Saturday, Bishop Martyn attended a prayer breakfast at Wetherspoons with local church leaders, met with ex-service personnel and was interviewed on Hermitage FM,  then returned to Broom Leys on the no. 11 bus.  In the afternoon there was a family event with activities and refreshments in the church hall, then a service of prayer for Coalville in the evening for Churches Together.

On Sunday we welcomed Bishop Martyn and the team to our celebration service of morning praise followed by lunch and a final Big Conversation.

A very big thank you to all who have organised, hosted events, catered, offered accommodation or helped in any way.

Bishop Martyn was interviewed on local radio station Hermitage FM. This is split into three audio files as indicated below. Click the icon(s) to listen.
