A Prayer for Haiti (please also remember the people of Chile and those affected by the Chilean Earthquake)

O God, our refuge and strength,
we hold before you the nation and people of Haiti,
and pray for healing in the midst of tragedy and devastation.

Give comfort to the homeless, the bereaved and the suffering, courage to survivors,
wisdom to those who seek to help,
and light to all who live in the shadow of death.

This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ,
our rock and our salvation. Amen

WALK NATIONAL FOREST UPDATE

Through Faith Missions would like to receive feedback from anyone involved in the recent mission.  They have already received powerful stories of the impact the Mission had on the lives of people in the National Forest region, and it would be good if we too could let them know of our experiences during that week.  So, if you were a host or offered hospitality, attended an event, spent time with team members at the various activities or simply chatted with the team, please let us know how you felt about the Mission and we will pass it on.

PARISH VISITING

Following our recent Walk National Forest Mission we are planning to instigate a Parish Visiting programme.  Once we have identified the area we want to visit, there will be a leaflet drop to let residents know who we are and when we intend to visit.
